    Lukas,

Love the lines from the receding surf. How long was the exposure?

    Here's a little landscape variety...

This one was taken on an early morning in Death Valley after hiking out to the Dunes in the dark

This was a sunrise from a little over a week ago. Taken just north of San Francisco

Cataract Creek sports several cool waterfalls. After some rain last week we drove up to the falls early in the morning. I found most of the sections of the creek had too much flow to be as photogenic as I've seen in the past, but the extra flow helped this particular waterfall

Sweetness. #2 is amazing, and #3 is very good. #1 is ok, but allow me to say that you seem at your best when shooting water and seascapes.

Say hello to my little friend ! Or to barbed wire.

Well I'd say most of my water shots are local and most shots w/o water are taken on road trips. On the road I don't get to be picky about conditions and it's usually my first time to a location. At home, I've been to most locations a half a dozen times or so and I can shoot under premium lighting conditions.

Of your shots, I like the 3rd one the best, but I don't like that tree poking in the left. The barbed wire in #2 is not a feature in the composition so I'd prefer it w/o (if possible). Kind of reminds me of telephone lines. 1 is creative. Did you get a fisheye?

The third one is ok, but it is the generic picture off the back porch so I can't get too excited over it. I finally got a Rokinon 7.5mm fisheye because it was small and cheap enough after wanting a fisheye for years. It is mutually exclusive with the filters I got at the same time though.

    Lukas,

I like the texture in that first B&W dune shot best of the bunch.
