Grand Canyon Pano....it was an interesting day to shoot because there were several snow storms moving across the canyon at different points. This is 10 or so images stitched together with PTGUI. Original is about 14000x4000.
Nikon D300, Nikon 35mm f/1.8 @ f/9, 1/320s, ISO 400, and circular polarizer.
Nice pano... She's a moody place changing from brown to grey to red and purple. I wish I could spend a year there just shooting.
I will truely miss having The Canyon in my back yard, but glad to be back home in the golden state.
Here's a sample (Nikkor 28-70 f/2.8). This is a repost. My hard drives are still in moving boxes.

Named for Tiburcio Vasquez, a Mexican outlaw, who hid among the rocks during 1872-73.
One of three major ridges, the double-triangular center section may be familiar to fans of Star Trek (Kirk rolls a boulder onto a lizard-like Gorn), Bonanza, Twilight Zone, and westerns.
You can walk along trails, some of which have geological/botanical markers.
Special K, those photos of upright rocks -"can't fault them"
