Ditto Adam's comments ^^^!
It took a while for that one to grow on me, but after I looked at it a while the compositional structure through the symmetry of the image, with a vertical axis running through the puffy white cloud, town lights and the reflected cloud, really drew me in and the deep rich colours really set it off.
cheers,
Thanks Benjamin and Adam. Really appreciate the comments.
Special K, nice shots. I really like the first one. It captures the atmosphere really nicely.

I took these today down near the lake. Last Summer we were in a drought and the lake looked terrible but the heavy rains we've gotten the past few weeks have really helped it...even though it's still not at the level it's usually at.

Wow - lots of great shots here folks, too many to catch up on and make
comments, sorry!!
Briefly - and sorry to those I leave out:
mjalex ~ very nice keep posting more please!!
Aldor88 - I like the grasses in the foreground - colour and saturation looks very nice
Prospero - as ever - lovely - I like the reflection on the water too..
01514 - these are really good - that's a nice camera in good hands!!
Only suggestion might be the snow shot might have needed a different white balance - unless you wanted it as blue as that - Snow is more tricky than you'd think!! +ev helps and possible reduction of contrast, early morning is a very blue light and you could even use cloudy (6000K) to compensate
super job everyone...
- I will stop there and simply add one of my own as I havent posted in this thread for a while: -
It's from our recent holiday in Centre Parcs Holland - they are building some new super Villas -
this one is viewed accross the lake in the evening light..it's more about the lake and not so much the villa
it just happens to be in the shot...
