The sunset looks great . The border looks cool, I get the idea behind it , but the same as in real life, a photo looks beter when it fits inside the frame, doesn't it (but it sure looks real )
Hi, I only just discovered the Photo Gallery forum the other day. Before then I'd only looked at the CAMERA forums since I've been looking for a new one. Admittedly, someone told me to start posting pictures - I was just confused and wondered how...hahaha
Anyway, I just wanted to say I am really amazed at all your photos here. Really shows the world is a beautiful place. You've all got such good photographic eyes too. I wonder how many are professional photographers? Almost ashamed to look at my photos after looking at all yours here! I just point and shoot - no eye for a good shot at all Oh well, may still post something eventually for the fun of it.
PH81, don't be embarrassed ... I'm sure you have some really great pictures. Sometimes it seems like a big part of a good picture is just luck ... if you take lots of pictures, there are bound to be some good ones! (Like me, 2500 pics in 6 weeks ...) Looking at the pictures here definitely helped my eye, and learning about the controls of the camera helped, too.
I agree PH81 just go & post. There have been some wonderful pictures of New Zealand posted here by others it looks like a beautiful place. Welcome to the gallery.
