Unfortunately not many folks seem to be aware of what an amazing digital camera the Fuji F-10 really is.
This is a camera capable of taking wonderful digital photos by just the lamplight in your living room. It is also capable of taking flash photos at 20 to 23 feet while most digital cameras have a flash range of just 7 to 16 feet.
Perhaps you are missing out when taking that great snapshot or that special photo at your favorite concert. Check out the Fuji F-10, you will be amazed!
Here is an example photo of a digital photo taken at 23 feet!
I loved the review for the Fuji F10,read it breathless.I really think it is a great camera so I decided to ask a friend to buy it in USA and bring it to me in ROmania where I live. Before I go over the moon because of this purchase,I was just wondering : isn't it too frail?I heared people on this forum complaining about Canon broken LCD's for SD500, the F10 is comparable so I just pray that it has no similar problems.
ANyway,I figure it is a great camera to learn on and practice, because I am new to DP.Not so many manual controls, but later I maybe will buy smth.else.
Before I end,I would like to say this is a great forum (my 1st post) and I hope I can become a good photoghrapher as time goes by!!
So any ideas on the F10 frailty?Or there's nothing to worry? Thanks!

Ive never heard of any problems with the F10, supposedly it is built very nicely, (Except for the plastic parts), the screen is also protected by i strong plastic, so it should be fine.

I was wondering how you'd like your new toy, now it appears you've fallen in love! Sigh... If only they'd mated that "Super CCD" technology with a long stabilized zoom lens, why would you need a dSLR? Do you have a gallery of F10 shots posted?
I, like most potential buyers here, have researched cameras to death. To the point my wife and friends laugh at me and ask me what my camera du jour is.
After reading 3 great web reviews, the f10 seemed like the perfect camera. Everything I wanted; a little over my budget but that's always the case no matter what I buy. Main factors - awesome pic quality, fast-iso and little lag time, 640x480 video, pretty small long flash and battery life. Red-eye, continous shoot and no optical viewfinder don't bother me at all.
Ordered from BH Photo for peace of mind.
After I get I will definitely let you know how I like it and will even try to post some pictures.
Just got my f10 yesterday and wanted to give my initial thoughts about it. It's solid well built and I think it's styling is simple and elegant. It's probably a little bigger than I imagined but the size I was happy with was the Canon SDXXX. I did not get my 512 xD card so I can only shoot 4 pics at a time befrore uploading to my computer.
One thing I do not like is all the cables you need to do stuff. My wife called me on my cell twice before she figured out how to start the charging. I also don't like the connection port on the camera. Lots of other dig cams have that little rubbery door, too but it sure seems like after while its gonna break off.
To change settings is not that bad. When you change something and hit OK it will take you right back there next time you access it. So for the F button I have it on ISO and on the menu button I have on the EV control.
Picture quality, Hard to tell since I only have an old Olympus 2MP to compare with. My pics don't look as good as the ones taken by the professional reviewrs but I'm still experimenting. Maybe this is a common feature but I really like that when you press for focus lock it gives aperature and speed settings.
I'll give more info as I get more familiar with the camera.
I don't care much for the cables either and all plasticy door thingies will come off eventually. But the images far outshine the small cons.
Get out on a sunny day, late afternoon, set that sucker to 6M Fine in manual mode, ISO 80, -1/3 EV, auto WB, auto flash, multi photometry, multi AF. Your composition skills aside, you'll be taking equal and better pictures than those reviewers!
Would anyone care to comment on the following.....With the great capabilities that the F-10 has to offer, is the camera 'manually' capable of precise focusing beyond the given optical zoom range into the digital area. While digitally zooming past the optical range, could you crop 'in camera' down to a lower megapixel, or something of that nature to try and get more distance without losing quality.
