    casualty

    hi folks, it's been a while since i posted. had a heck of a lot going on lately. thought some of you might be interseted in this. i took it at work on tuesday, it was a casualty aircraft that landed due to a mayday. got some more if anyone is interested.

    thank geoff, ok. this is the cause and effect of the situation. the terminal which returns the power from the anti fog( which heats the inside of the window), either short circuited or there was a bad bond. this caused the controler to keep supplying power as all the voltage was being dropped accross the terminal. enough heat was generated to break the window. incidently this happened on the ground, the A/C had landed due to smoke from the over heating terminal. another thing to keep your mind at ease , is, only the inside of the window broke.
