What 'flavour' avi format is supported by my FujiFilm S7000?
I have a FujiFilm S7000. I recently took some little movies and used my work computer to mix them all together to music etc for a bit of fun and save them as 1 large mpg. I then wanted to convert the large mpg back to an avi (I found a bit of software on the web for this) so I could put it back on the camera so I could take it home to amuse friends and family. I don't have a very good home computer so play back at home is best done on the TV via my camera. I'm not trying to achieve anything professional, it is just for a little bit of fun.
Anyway the problem I have is I don't know what 'flavour' of avi I need for the camera to be able to see the movie file. I have since found out avi is a sort of 'container' format and there are many ways the audio and video can exist in an avi file (not a very standard standard?!?)
Does anyone know a way to allow me to convert any common video format (eg mpg, I'll even accept wmv if it works!! :-) to the flavour of avi that will alow me to view it on/via my S7000?
Thanks.
