Phat,TNB...do the D80 and D200 have the same in-camera noise correction?
That's a fabulous shot TNB. What a moment to catch! Did you ever feel that letting the in-camera software, if it's the same as D80, take care of noise results in loss of detail?

The D200 doesn't have the pre-sets or the same post-processing capabilities as the D80; however, the D200 is twice as fast as the D80 and in my opinion, feels much better than the D80 especially when using longer lenses. The D200 is 5fps and has a faster write speed than some of the other camera brands even though the frames per second may even be the same. Myself, I very seldom shoot that high of an ISO and I'd rather have a faster camera for speed than some of the in-camera processing since I may be able to help correct a shot on a large monitor with 3rd party software than never have captured the shot.
