He is my brother....
PIC: My 6 year-old tried to carry her 2y.o. brother after a fall.
Way too over-exposed, I wasn't familiar with the camera at the time. Fudging the controls to get better shot but opportunity was gone. So it's too precious to throw away.

And JTL, nice theme. Nice time to be captured, weddings and walking one's daughter (or grandaughter) down the isle.

Here's one from a recent wedding. The dad's one of those difficult to read sorts not glib with the smiles. Reviewing the whole sequence has yet to leave me unmoved. This shot sort of sums up the feeling.


Man, I'm going to love doing some wedding photography some day. If so; I hope I don't loose sight of the power behind the photos for the people involved.

I have a friend with 4 kids, all of whom love to give me lots of portrait practice. I'm really trying to learn more about how to photograph people with hopes of taking my son's senior pics real soon. Here's one of my favorites that I've ever done. Even though you can't see her face, I loved this pic. She was playing 'ballerina' as you can probably see.
