    Thanks Chandler, believe it or not that photo wasn't taken with my Nikon but with my Panasonic DMC-FZ30.

    Thanks Geoff. I'm kind of torn between the color and B&W. The lens was the Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6. I ended up selling it because it was purple fringing way too much.

    I thought the Tamron 70 - 300 was supposed to be a goodun, I have the Sigma
    one at the moment - and whilst a) I don't use it much and b) I plan to slowly
    get rid of the Sigmas - it will stay with me for the foreseable future, at least until
    I have some kind of alternative...

    Great display of images - looks like a real fun day parade you were at - very colourfull too.
