These are photos from a trip to the UK some years ago. The venue is Covent Garden, originally a fruit and flower market (and the setting for the opening scene of GB Shaw's Pygmalion), but now an arts and crafts tourist mecca. Among the entertainers was this rather strange-looking Gothic individual. Despite looking weird he had a rather haunting voice, which you can hear by clicking the link. Photos and sound clip were taken with a Canon S2-IS.

I can't beleive nobody's uploading people shots, so here goes:
this one is called "the musician" ok, the fable goes like this: one day i happended to be wandering around with a P&S wth no batteries, and happend to find this chap. so i payed him ten bucks to hold the pose, powered up my camera, and found batts dead. seeing how desperate (and stinko rich) i was to get the shot, i was mobbed by hawkers who tried to sell batteries to me. i borrowed twenty bucks from a freind, bought a pair of cheap chinese batteries, took one frame, when they died, leaving me eith just one shot. i reworked it a million times, finally ending up with this:
