That's a creative shot there, Madigan. Welcome to the forum. To get your pic to show up in the thread (instead of as a link) first you need to "grab the photo's URL" from the bottom of the All Sizes page on Flickr. Then come back here to DCRP, click the little picture icon in the reply window (the square yellow button with the mountain in it) and replace the http:// with the photo's url. Once you click OK and post the reply, your pic should show up. hth

Thank you, that's good to know. I will definitely do that from now on.

Very cute picture, although I'm not crazy about the processing. Would you show us the original?

Could you explain what about the processing you don't like? Or do you just not like processing at all? I welcome critisism so don't be shy

I definitely am in favor of processing, I do it to all of my pics. But in general, I think it looks best when it's subtle enough that a non-photographer wouldn't know it wasn't straight-out-of-the-camera (SOOC.) Things like subtle brightening, contrast, saturation, etc. that pretty much just make the picture look more like it did when you were there.
I don't favor obvious manipulation such as selective color, artificial makeup, extensive skin smoothing, blur, digital frames, reflections, and usually not color effects such as sepia or "vintage," although there is a place for them. Besides looking "faked" to people who know what they're looking at, extensive processing tends to look dated before too long.
Again, I really like the shot you have here, it's beautiful. And I think I'd prefer the original
