My Inlaws had a git together over labor day weekend...brother/sister in laws with their significant others up Hobble Creek Canyon near Mapleton, Utah. Me and my itchy finger had a fun time...here is a link to my gallery of pictures.
I had a great time at my family reunion, catching candid shots with my 300mm. But I think my relatives didn't like it ... one of my aunts started asking people's permission before she took pictures of them with her P&S ... oh well. They loved the pictures I took when they saw them later. Do you like to take candid shots of people?

I do like to take candid shots of people as they are always fun to take especially if they tun out great! Candid shots are weasier to take as well as you dont have to mess with posing people.
I love shot 1! The way the baby is in focus, but there is some motion blur in the woman, really puts me in the moment. I can imagine her turning to play with the baby.
(#2 seems out of focus.) But #1 is a great shot! I bet the woman would love to have it.

Thank you very much...Yeah I noticed that, my files were to big to post so I reduced the photo size with one of those free programs, and I think it did something funky....cause the original looks good. Go figure

I love and like all the pictures put in this thread, especially the first picture called "the musician". I had one shot just taken last saturday, this baby girl just wake up from her sleep and looking at her father...she was surprise (I think) to see her daddy sitting with me on the beach family gathering (she came late with her mother), her face look very innocent (wondering perhaps the right word). C & C are welcome.
