It does - I like it! Also the shallow depth of field helps in this case
Nice one - and a little unusual.

I have the same speakers here. I really like them, the sound is really clear.
Obviously, it will never sound as good as those B&W speakers, but for a poor student like me, they are very nice .

Turo, nice abstract. I like the bokeh.

Gintares, great abstract. Have you considered cropping it so that the end of the branch is outside of the picture, therefore giving the illusion it can go on indefinitly? I like the shallow DOF too and the B&W indeed works great.

I am finding my 16 year old Tannoy DC 2000's are making nice PC speakers at the moment!!!

I wouldnt call any of these abstract. Id put them in the macro section. Abstract should be unrecognizable at first glance. But they are nice macros.

You're right. I was actually looking to put at least the first and last shot in the macro section but didn't see it before. I will move them there and leave the middle shot. I think it's fairly unrecognizable at first glance...especially if you hadn't seen the larger one.

I know it isn't "technically" an abstract, but until there is a perpetual macro thread, I will post this here. I was thinking this would have looked better in B&W but I like the colours.

the EXIF is still attached if anyone wants it.
