    Hey I like it!
Sort of photo I would take and be asked what am I taking that for?

Thank you, Geoff... it's currently my desktop wallpaper. I was wondering today how it would have come out if I had tried to get the focus on the castle walls outside the window. That would just have been a simple aperture adjustment, right?

Focus adjustment, not aperture adjustment. But it would not be good as the glass would be out of focus (wrong distance) and the castle would be blurred from the glass (not transparent).

You got a good shot and the only one that would work, I think.

I altered the perspective so you are now looking straight out the window.

Here's a macro of a small leave. It has a magnification of 2.5x. The depth of field is very small, but I liked this shot just the same:

I too like that shot very much Prospero. It looks more human than vegetable. Like something Da Vinci would have drawn. Nice.
