Excuse P_Schneider! Undoubtedly it is abstraction. But first of all it is Digital Manipulation!

true enough, but I still liked the way it turned out. If you like I can remove it. Better yet, here is a true abstract to make up for it.

My mom made this for me for Christmas one year. It hangs above my sink in the kitchen next to a chile ristra.

I took a picture of a light in a dark room at a slow shutter speed, and jiggled the camera during exposure. Then I played with the color in PS.

It's kind of weird, but I like it.

Interesting abstract, Shiloh. I just wondered, what is the thing you have been taking a photograph of?

Here's another of my abstracts, though again I don't know if this qualifies as one.

By the way, does anybody know what makes a picture an abstract one???

It's a light fixture above my fireplace mantel. You can kind of see the outline of the lightbulb.
