    I'm not sure it works as an abstract because of the bird, but I certainly like the shot.

    Thanks Lukas you are probably right. The bird is definitely not abstract. Strange it was the bird that was the subject of the shot as taken but it's the background that gets the attention in the image. Overall just a happy accident.

    Phew thanks raven if only I'd been able to see the shot in my mind first and then execute it rather than just crop off a random failed BiF attempt and run it through "I'm feeling lucky" in Picassa. Which is what I really did
