Here's a macro (3x magnification) of a fly gone wrong. Somehow I liked the look of it, I thought it looked rather abstract, so that's why I post it here:
Nikon D-50
// Nikkor 70-300 f/4-5.6 VR // Nikkor 50 mm f/1.8
// Sigma 17-70 f/2.8-4.5 ...// Nikon SB-600
// Sigma 10-20 f/4-5.6......// Nikon Series E 135 mm f/2.8
// Kiron 105 f/2.8 Macro....// Manfrotto 190XPROB + 488RC4
// Nikkor 35 f/1.8..........// Sigma 500 mm f/8

Cool, Dennis. But that color looks suspiciously skin-toned.....

Thanks Adam.
It wasn't skin this fly was lying on, but a yellow book. It was lit by warm light of my desk lamp, so that's the reason why the colour may apear to be skin tones.

Lukas--that's really cool. I like how it looks like it could have been taken from 4 feet or 4,000 feet.

Thanks Adam. It was closer to 4 feet. If it was 4,000 feet that would be one large bird turd on the left.

Ahhhh point taken! Live and learn
Love your first one too! Perhaps bordering on too contrasty if I dare say but I like it!
