    I also only see red x's eggrole1 - mind you this is an abstract thread
    I love the abstract views of everyday objects. You must get some funny looks from passers by taking some of these shots. Just keep on ignoring them the images are great.

    jsla and American Nomad i love each of those shots.

    sorry for the red x's, seems like my connection was down for a few days, but it is back up now.

    Hopefully I will have get some good shots this weekend... classes have been restricting me from playing...

    rather like all year Christmas lights I guess

    A Macro Abstract

    This believe it or not, is a Macro of a Horse Fly's Eye, hope you like. at this close range, its definitely Abstract. Oh, and by the way, There are some really fantastic photos on this thread.

    canon 17-40 L, 70-200 f2.8 L, 400 f5.6 L, 50 f1.4 & f1.8, 1.4x TC, sigma 15 f2.8 fisheye, flash 500 DG Super, kenko extension tubes

    Thanks ReF, This was shot with my new lens I just got on the 14th. It is a Tamron 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di LD Aspherical (IF) Macro. I used this lens in conjunction with my Kenko Extension tube set. It has done an awesome job so far.

    That's just amazing. I wudda thought a microscope was necessary to see that close!
    Looks like a cloth pattern from the 50's--I can imagine wearing a shirt like that when I was a kid!
