really beats me. what is it?
interesting pic. grabbed my attention.
You are exactly right, I was testing a new lens my camera shop had, I went outside and this caught my eye, It is a very small rust spot on a Fire Hydrant, very glad you liked it.

thanks for sharing! wow, i can imagine the "work" passion you have for your shop.
got this all wrong but it turned out to be quite an abstract.
BE/gerard.... glad you both liked it. those were wild berries of some sort in theat forest expedition i took last week (work-related). "unfortunately" and somehow fortunately, the auto mode gave me a slow shutter setting and when i thought the cam had already taken the shot, i lowered it and here you go. abstract! panning shot of wild berries.
Here's a shot of an eagle statue that sits right out front of a police station nearby....
A little photoshop to take out a small portion of building that got into the lower left, and a bit more to curve the bottom wing...
Here is my abstract contribution, although it is probably pretty clear what it is (a tree where a branch was removed):
I have been looking through this thread and enjoying all of the great pics. When I came across this one by gstafleu it reminded of one I took at a mall in San Francisco. I hope you can see what I saw.
