    Echinops ritro

    Great shots everyone - so many ideas and much inspiration.

    The attached should be in the flower thread? It is a unopened flower head of Echinops ritro [blue globe thistle]. I have softened the corners a bit to even out the background and draw the eye to the detailed centre.

    Canon A80, outdoors, no flash, macro mode, Ap f/2.8, Exp 1/400s
