    Just like a painting. Very nice. SD500 sure makes a good paintbrush!

    Thank you for the compliment. It means a lot coming from someone who's work I admire.

    O.K...this was one of my nuttier compositions. First, I took a shot from a helicopter of the Manhattan Skyline at 57th St. looking south down 2nd Ave. (just above the corner where I live). Then, I took that photo and applied Flaming Pear's lacquer effect to it. Then, I took a picture of that photo displayed on my monitor with the SD500 in digital marcro mode while moving my hand slightly up and to the right...

    WOW, a lot of work went into that one. The results clearly show it was worth it. Great imagination. Thanks for letting us into the creation of it.
