Dictionary.com says:

Fine Arts.
of or pertaining to the formal aspect of art, emphasizing lines, colors, generalized or geometrical forms, etc., esp. with reference to their relationship to one another.

I think it fits here just fine .

As for the photo I think it's lovely. I like the lush green color. Could do without the centered leaf though.

You're welcome. Hey, just because of one person doesn't mean you were totally wrong when taking your photo. That's just me and only me... so far. You're the artist and that's why you get to decide what goes in your photos. It's all about Personal Preference.

I wasnt going to say anything but I have to agree with Mumbles. I think the main focus of the picture is the very interesting green grassy growth between the stones. The leaf is just a distraction right in the middle. If the ground was uninteresting then the focus would be on the leaf. So you have confused the viewer (me) into wondering why the leaf was there. And to top it off you are showing the backside of the leaf.

If you look close..you can see where it was taken out of...maybe with the clone stamp in photoshop?

The grass was copied from a few sqyares over and put over the leaf.
