I Stand Alone
Not sure if it qualifies for abstract photography.
My first shot at abstract photography. This was a sole green object in a otherwise barren and dead tree.

Just a couple of abstract shots...pretty easy to figure out what they are without some cropping :P These are original shots, not editted at all. Taken with a Samsung S730 on a 3 second exposure.

I went out on a walk and came back home with this. I used the in camera b&w feature just to see what is was all about. Some contrast adjustments in CS2.

I just got my new panosonic DMC FZ8 and was playing around for an assignment in my flickr group.
What do you think? I am new to photography so all comments will
be taken as constructive criticism!

Hi April! Your pic looks good to me. I like the way the background is blown out, and I like the exposure of the top and sides of the box. I kind of want to see that upper left corner of the box ... but I don't know if I would like it better that way or not. I like the fingerprints on the box ... makes it personal, not commercial

What flickr group is it? What is the assignment?
BTW, you sometimes get more comments if you make your own thread. If you just want to post your picture, it works to put it in an existing thread.
