    Alone at the Fair

Here I am at the fair enjoying one of the rides, alas, no one was there to take my picture.

This is the clothes line after the rain this morning.

    Canon Digital Rebel XT
    EF 100mm 2.8 Marco
    f/4
    1/320 sec
    ISO 800

I'm pretty sure I shot this on Av mode. Forgot to change the ISO from some shooting I was doing earlier (oops), that's why the shutter speed was so fast. Converted to monochrome in DPP. Applied the green filter effect in DPP (it seemed to lessen the noise). That's about it for PP (other than resize).

I may have to try this again, I wish it had just a little more DOF, and less noise (have to remember to check what I have the ISO set on more often).

I think it works for an abstract picture though. C & C are welcome, just don't hold back - I can take it. Don't be afraid to tell me if it sucks, lol.

Mangler, I like it. Makes my head hurt to look at it however! In a good way. It really plays with your preception.

    I dunno

I dunno about this one. When I took the main image, I was just struck by the stop light and the transformer, but after bringing the image up, I did not like how I composed it. For whatever reason I hate the stop light on the far left of the image, but when I took it, that was what I wanted. So, I started to play...

So, please give comments and whateverelse you want to give.

This is so abstract I don't even remember what it really is! I'm guessing that it is part of a fountain but I'm not sure.

    Cool Fairground ride

One from a fairground ride this weekend on Guy Fawkes night, at Glasgow Fireworks display.

I've cropped out the diagonal bars on another version of the shot, but afraid thats on the other PC just now!

No special PS was done for those pictures. No any filter was used. How did I do it?
