    Nice one Bill, how did you do that? A bunch of plants against a background that you managed to color-mask perhaps...?

    Even easier - the original photo is below. I used the magic wand to select whole bunches of the background and some of the foreground, then deleted them. While the empty areas were selected, I added a red gradient.

    love the way this pic turned out. it is a bolt protruding out of a cement block about 10" high. it seems to move when i look at it. gives kind of 3D look too.

    Lights in the Dark

    Here's a little something I was playing with. It is one of those gadgets that is lighting. I used a Nikon N80 with a 28-80 zoom lens. I started at or near wide-angle and then slowly zoomed in during the exposure. The image is pretty cool, but I am still having to suffer with a very poor scanner. I'm open to suggestions about a scanner. I would prefer a film scanner over a flatbed.
