I liked the "oil-painting" look it had. No PP.

Your pic inspired me to take this one, last weekend.
You'll have to excuse the ridiculously cheesy border, sorry. I got carried away in PS and at least I learned my lesson

I like your pic. My favorite part is in the upper right, where the water distorted that creamy-tan colored stick (or something like that.)

My first pic with the S3 IS
Just a shot of a cheap window cover and a wall with suede technique. I like it for some reason so i kept it.

I think this is reasonably abstract, a statue against an Ivey-covered wall:

That's easy, it is obviously a Cow Horn

Ok going on Prospero's definition 'What I believe makes a photograph an abstract is that the work of art has a deeper meaning beyond what is shown' ( and not knowing where else to stick it!!! ) here's one I took today...
on the surface this would be a picture of my son's microstars football figures... its deeper meaning would be my desire for England to hit a few goals in the back of the net and win the World Cup

This was obviously shot fast and froze the motion, but the picture still conveys a reall sense of motion and life. I think it's an amazing shot.
