    Thanks...You would think since it was very first shot I got with all manual settings I should know but I don't and I am not sure if I can get them off of the picture...(I am kinda new at this) But the Camera is a Powershor S2IS and I LOVE it.

    got this while we were driving about 65mph zoomed in 12x got to love the image stabalizer! (panasonic lumix fz7) please leave comments also for some reason the sun came out pink? is this because of no filter? please comment!

    Burning Out the CCD

    Does anyone have any comments on the issue of "frying" the sensor when taking pictures of sunrises/sunsets? I recently got my 30D and the first pictures that I took with it were sunrise pictures. I haven't noticed any problem with the CCD but I am curious if anyone has ever experienced a damaged CCD due to pointing the camera at the sun? If so, what are the symptoms? Here is one of those sunrise shots I got.The settings I used were 1/500 sec F/5.6 and ISO100. Comments Welcome...
