Sunsets!

Not sure this one worked, what does anyone else think?

I think it works pretty good. I see some hints of green in the sunset so I might tweak that, but it's fine as is. The bird is a nice detail.

Shot these 2 a few days ago (when it wasn't raining << )

Both shot with a Fuji Finepix S6500FD (aka S6000FD)

I see some ghosting or motion blur in that first one. Maybe a Manual blend would work better.

Didn't noticed it was that bad on the right side of the pic (I only saw the misalignment on the left which I tought was caused by purple fringing).
Thing is, I used Photomatix basic 1.2.1 which doesn't have a manual align function but I'll see if I can do it manualy with some other application

Did you bracket multiple jpegs or did you use a single RAW file?

I like that first one Eddie. Not crazy about the silhouetted foregrounds in the other shots.

Here's one from Pebble Beach (Bean Hollow). Just a simple composition, nothing too fancy...

I like, Lukas. The simplicity of the composition is very nice and you got the shutter speed just right--the water looks soft but the waves are still distinct.
