Crisp and clear, no clouds at all, as the sun sinks behind the Olympic mountains in the Pacific Northwest. Photo taken 01-21-08 from Whidbey Island looking west across the Pudget Sound.

Here are two sunset pictures I took last month. I already posted this on the Nikon board, so some may have seen these already. The first is a HDR, I bracketed three shots and blended them on the computer. I used fill flash on the second.

Wow, Dennis, those are both amazing landscapes! I especially love the second one. All the landscapes I've seen from you are gorgeous. Any landscape tips & tricks for this newbie landscape-lover?
C & C most welcome - no matter how harsh, as it helps me learn.

Thank you Tori, maybe some day I will.

Prospero, I really like your second one. Did you use the flash on camera or off camera?
