    First Bird Attempt

Went down to a local park with my girlfriend and her daughter today. Dragged the D200 along.

    All these were shot with a D200, 300mm AF-S f/4 lens.

Resized and cropped in PS. Opinions please!

    Nikkor 24mm f/2.8, 50mm f/1.8, 85mm f/1.8,

Man it seems like ages since i've posted anything let alone taken any pics. Life's been fairly busy these days.

Anyway here are some shots from today.

Two photos from last summer. How's this for a bird with the color saturation turned down? She looks as if she's been dipped in bleach and tumble-dried. This female nuthatch is always first in line when I put out food, and when she started looking like this, I thought her days were over for sure.

But it was only a summer molt. Before long her new feathers came in and she looked as good as ever.

    Regards,
