    WOW! What a great shot! Such nicely controlled DOF, vivid colors and compostion. Like it a lot! It looks as if could fly right out of my monitor...

    Thanks for the suggestion! I'm just now really starting to play around with all the settings. Up until this point I've been mainly sticking to the auto modes, but last night I took a couple hundred pictures of the sunset using different shutter speeds, ISO, and aperture settings, just to get a feel for what each one looks like. I've also been reading every book I can get my hands on, especially the D50 field guide. I'll figure this photography thing out one of these days!

    And may I say, I'm very impressed that you knew what lens I was using.
