Hi all! Sorry I've not been around much. Been very busy. I'll try to drop in more often. Here's a Blue Jay series for now. In the first one, this guy had stuffed about 6 peanuts in his little pouch before finally flying off to enjoy them elsewhere... or stash them away one. BTW, did you realize that Blue Jays aren't REALLY blue... they actually have NO blue pigment in their feathers, but refracted light casts a blue appearance.

Thanks. I've not gotten to shoot as much lately. Been very busy plus the weather has not been very cooperative either. If it's not raining... then it's EXTREMEMLY windy... and on many occasions... it's been above 60 degrees and when it's THAT warm, most of the birds seem to find food sources elsewhere other than my yard.

The water looks a bit funky. Not sure what causes that or how to avoid it....

I believe I had a polarizer on for this shot, but I don't recall 100%.

EDIT: On second thought, I probably *didn't* have the polarizer on for this shot, which would explain the funky reflections on the water.
