Great job on the heron! For such large birds they can be a might skittish.

Your shot of Bfor looks almost like one of those selectively painted black a white pictures I see from time to time. How does it look as a pure black and white shot? (I asked myself) I downloaded it and desaturated it in photoshop. It looked very nice without any further manipulation.

This is by no means anything resembling good shots, but conditions weren't exactly great. These little ones were shot behind glass, from a moving sidewalk, in a very dark area. It was fun to see what my camera would or wouldn't do given such conditions.
The second shot was taken in the same way, but I used 15 shots in auto stitch to create a panorama. I also lightened this one. Both have been cropped and resized for the web.
