geese and duck are always nice captures, because they are one of the easiest to shoot anyway, here's this weeks captures. This little guy wouldn't hold still, he hopped from one branch to the other... This Robin is cropped, he was pretty far away to get a decent shot. anyone know what kind of ducks these are? the white one has some sort of latch on his beak...i'm not sure if it's because it is broken? For the gull lovers and the geese lovers. not as sharp as i would like..

Here's another female ruby-throated hummer in mid air.

And these next two (male ruby-throats) were taken sort of late in the day and I was shooting in RAW which I never could quite get the hang of... but I still liked the composition of the shots even though technically, they were lacking. The last one was one ANGRY hummer about to do battle with another.

    Very nice pictures, folks.

If these guys were common around my neck of the woods I would probably know what he is, but they're not, and I don't.

**EDIT: Found out this is a Hooded Warbler, very rare for my part of Texas according to the USGS site.
