Val...just think how your heron shot would have looked if all you had was a 3x zoom! At least you got the shot and could share it with us.

Here's an odd sight in NYC...

Thanks Val, and JTL. I just got my first SLR camera less than 2 years ago... broke it and then upgraded to a digital SLR. Since then, it's really become more of an obsession than just a hobby. I'm learning more and more as time goes by. Planning to order a new lens this week, so my obsession will be in high gear for sure!

That is so true JTL ....The S2 has opened up a whole new world that my old sony wouldnt let me into. And it doesnt take a bad snap
