    As always some great shots on this thread.


    Here's a few from my visit to the Hawk Conservancy in Weyhill Nr Andover Uk yesterday.


    first a Barn Owl



    Madeleine- the Secretary bird attempting to kill the rubber snake by kicking it to death!


    Cheyenne the Bald Eagle awaits her reward after her very impressive flying display

    The Secretary bird was one of the most entertaining of the day here is another shot - I'm calling this one "high kicks" (not quote in focus but she was moving very fast and I was laughing a lot!)

    Thanks Geoff. Pics taken at the Hawk Conservancy Weyhill, Nr Andover really great for photographs they have over 200 birds and fly 5 different species 3 times a day. If you are this way again you should put it on your list of places to visit. I took over 300 shots in one visit - glad its digital!

    They even have hides you can use to view native birds across the valley.

    heres another one - this time a Indian White-backed vulture - critically endangered species taken though wire.

    Wow val123 those are some nice shots! I wish there was a hawk conservatory around here. Great pics everyone

    I'm starting to see now, along with photography i should learn about the animals i'm shooting

    I have no idea what kinda bird this is, a budgee or canary of some sort?
