    A couple of Bald/Sea Eagle shots

    A couple taken from my recent visit to Eagle Heights in Kent..
    One close up of the Bald eagle - then proof I was there...

    very impresive shot. the dynamic range quite surprised me from the d80. shows what can happen when the bloke behind the camera does the job right.

    Thanks Rooz - I admit the days shooting wasn't the easiest or ideal as it
    was a wet grey day.
    I set my WB using Kelvin as Auto can be unpredictable - I ended up using 5300K most
    of the day. I constantly needed to eyball the composition and guestimate how bright
    it was ~ then dial the amount of EV adjusment I thought best - I stuck in Apperture
    priority for the day and watched the shutter speeds - cranking up the ISO as the day went on.
    Since this D80 came back I reckon it is a better camera - the Owl shot (elswhere) was taken
    at ISO 800 and is OK - even a shot taken at ISO1000 seemed pretty good
