    I thought the light coming through the feathers was a nice effect on this gull.

    first day out with my 18-200mm

    I shot these birds with my new Nikon 40x with my 18-200mm and the "sports" setting.

    Gulls are easy to shoot, they like to stay still in the air,

    and a piece bread in the lake helps also

    nice shots guys. today is a beautiful day. we hit a high of 62 degrees. but snow tonight. lol these were taken in my back yard

    Bynx - that dove is gorgeous - what did you do? lie down in the snow!!!???
