    It had spent the previous hour or so landing right beside the lawn mower to get worms and grubs so I figured it was only fair to ask it to pose for a couple of shots.

    I think the hardest shot of a bird is in flight. Youve done a great job. The ends of the wings show movement while the rest of the bird is razor sharp. Nice work.

    You must have been pretty close to get a shot of a bird in flight to fill the frame at 125mm.

    It's called cropping.
    I was about 4 metres from it and the image has had about a 1/3 of the width cropped out.
