After that cardinal doing his angel impression, here's a bird with both feet on the ground. This woodpecker had discovered a rotten log and was really making the chips fly. He'd grab a beakful of the soft wood and fling it over his shoulder - within minutes he'd excavated a hole as big as himself. I hope he got some tasty bugs for his efforts.

Fantastic shoots snowdr, I find very difficult to get those with the same tools!

These are of the 'Gigüeña Blanca', White Stork (Ciconia Ciconia).
Very easy to see here in spring, with their big nests in towers and trees.
