Here is a shot taken about 2 weeks ago around Anthem, AZ. Unfortunately My main computer is down for maintenence so the cropped and upsampled version is not available yet.
These are Cactus Wren Chicks nested in, of all places, a Saguaro Cactus. I have a couple more but they need a little work as these were taken at a distance and looking up about 15 feet. A good reason to invest in the Sigma 18-200 (this was taken with the 18-125).
D7000, D70, CP990, CP900, FE + a lens or 6.

Very Nice! Wrens may be my favorite as they make nests inside our garage. Yesterday a second batch of babes of this season left the nest. Today, one day later, we see that a third nest is in the works...
