Are you sure thats not a migratory bird? I've seen them in Georgia, as well.

Maddox, It seems to have great potential, Was it taken hand-held or tripod? I have tried both myself, and I find that with long range shots, I always do better with a tripod, if possible. looking forward seeing more photos with your new lens.

I'm on my way to buy a tripod. The one I had been planning to buy this weekend was sold out

Yeah - I need a tripod for sure!
