SOD I love your Great Blue Heron shot. I had posted one taking off a couple of weeks ago. They are truly awesome birds. I see them often around where I live because of the numerous wildlife areas but not as often as I see snowy egrets, which are also awesome birds. Sadly, I don't take photos around here, although I plan on documenting all the birds that live around me.

Anyway here is a shot of the heron I shot before standing on the trail I was hiking on.

    Osprey

Here is my first shot of an Osprey with my new Sigma 80-400mm OS EX1:4.5-5.6 APO D. I used a tripod so I did not use the OS. Nikon D70

Charles, thanks for the kind words. Your Ospreys are pretty great too. I love the Hummingbird as well.

Taken from a moving car.....(...If only I could have stopped and used a tripod!!). I don't know what kind of bird this is but thought I would share my ameture adventure. Taken with my well used and abused canon 70-300.

Memories may fade from my mind, but a good photograph will speak forever.
