Well, I haven't been lucky enough to find nesting hawks around here but I did see this Turkey Vulture, along with about a dozen of his closest friends. They were checking out the pickings along the riverbank after some recent violent storms.

It was sunning itself, from this angle it just looked unusual. I have not seen one sun itself
before, but I never get a whole lot of oppotunity to watch them either. Have another one on my flickr
page, more traditional pose.
