I sure have been missing some great bird photos, not been around for awhile.
Did capture this Barn Swallow this morning.

Well, I haven't been lucky enough to find nesting hawks around here but I did see this Turkey Vulture, along with about a dozen of his closest friends. They were checking out the pickings along the riverbank after some recent violent storms.

Falconest, I love watching turkey vultures flying, but they are certainly ugly in person.

Found new lucky tree, Osprey with fish one morning, this American Bald the next day on same snag.

I call him the Caped Avenger

Interesting pose on the eagle. Just sunning himself or getting ready to fly?

It was sunning itself, from this angle it just looked unusual. I have not seen one sun itself
before, but I never get a whole lot of oppotunity to watch them either. Have another one on my flickr
page, more traditional pose.

Shot of a Heron coming in to a landing on the Chenango R. He(?) he was moving from another position on the river. Love the flight posture and reflection.
