    Thanks - I got lucky with the timing - I took 10 shots of the guy feeding the gulls, and 2 of them turned out.

    This fellow caught my eye as I was walking back from shooting some other stuff. When I first saw him he was on the ground tumbling and I didn't know if he had caught something or there were 2 of them mating. I think the poor guy has a broke/hurt wing as you can tell his left wing seems to sit higher and a different angle. He never changed his expression the whole time I was shooting him, only to keep his eyes on me.

    Canon 20D 75-300 ISO 100 1/400 @ f7.1

    Ahh - another shot tumbled in as I was replying... I reckon he may well have been injured. Not sure I'd like to try and get a hold of him though!!

    The eyes got me. His expression never changed and he was constantly watching me. I probably got within 10' of him and I was a little nervous that he might charge me. 1 minute later and I would have missed him. Just caught him as he hit the ground out of the corner of my eye. Right place and time for once . Thanks for your nice comment.
