    Coopers Hawk

This fellow has been stalking my bird feeder the past few weeks. Today he landed about 30 feet away. The sliding glass door doesn't help the focus or detail much.

    Downy Woodpecker

Here is a Downy Woodpecker on a neighbor's suet block. This was during yesterday's snowstorm.I also saw but did not shoot (wrong lens on camera) an eagle weaving between trees on west bank of local river. I keep missing the good shots on that bird. 1/500 f6.3 ISO 400 tammy 70-300 at 300 about ten feet away.

I can't believe how well the suet feeder works. I would see one downy off in the bush once every couple of weeks.

Now there are seven individuals visiting regularly

This is the second biggest female, missed big momma this morning, sigh..
