Any idea what the bird in your picture is called? I can identify a few on here, but many I don't know.
I suspect these are a crossbeak, but I don't know for sure. Anyone care to identify this variety? I was lucky to photo the male & female.

Must get a faster focusing lens, so I can get more "bird head" and less "bird ass"
That's how I feel too. But seems like the faster focusing lenses are so large and expensive that it is actually easier to get a faster focusing camera!
