OK, ok. I apologise for my comment. I just felt that the photo wasn't really in keeping with the thread! I will keep my thoughts to myself in future. And as to my comment on the raising of your child, it wasn't fair of me and I do apologise. must have been having a bad day!

Canon SD500 on Auto. The camera chose f/4.9 at 1/200 sec.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm using a Canon EOS D60. this shot was taken with an 5.6 100/300 Telephoto lens on tripod with a cable release. ISO at 100 setting on p. Minor post processing for contrast and minor for sharpness as well. I have fallen in love with the Canon EOS series digital camera.

Mine's a KM A200, I cropped and resized to get it on the Forum, Shutter 1/250th and F3.5, Daylight White ISO50 ~ no ompensation.
It's one of my wife's favourite Ducks - along with the Ruddy Duck.

This is a european Robin (and also happens to be the first photo I took on my then new D70, everything on auto)
