    If you look carefully there are blue highlights - I guess the head is the most lit - but overcast would produce a more blue light, if it was Auto WB it may have fooled it a little
    Coudy might have been too warm though. Not sure what WB fine tuning there is in a D40. - anyway - I kind of like it like that!!

    Got to admit that is a bit better, there is still a tinge of blue there - is how it looked?

    The head is still very blue on my monitor, although the rest of the image looks quite warm. I like it that way though, it's beautiful. Was the hawk really like that?

    I was playimg with my camera and favourite lens today - I decided to try some experiments - I took a series of photos of a couple of model Ducks that my wife loves - here's just one for the moment - I posted it here as I didn't know where else to post it - plus, in a way, it is a bird...
    I decided to use availale light - which was very low indoors in the shadows - but I kind of liked it.

    Cheers guys - I was just messing really - not had the camera out of the bag for a while - so I thought - 'What is there at home I could take some experimental shots of.?...'
